I have been doing calisthenics and body weight training for a long time now, this is my first app dedicated to calisthenics practitioners, and people who train in general.

App presentation : 

working with the app is simple.


Two timers available, depending on what you need for the day : one for calisthenics and body weight training, the second for interval workouts, also referred to as HIIT (High intensity interval training).

Three complete workout examples are included to demonstrate how :

- You  plan a calisthenics workout : warm up,skill training and accessory work ( accessories for strength and injury prevention).

- A Heavy bag (boxing and\or kick boxing) workout : warm up,the round time and what to do each round.

- A hybrid workout where you combine strength training with conditioning : Example of a front lever skill training + explosive high intensity intervals (focus on working the legs).


You can revisit the saved sets when you reopen the app

The calisthenics Timer :

you can use this timer with calisthenics skills and body weight exercises , it is particularly useful for static exercises like grip holds on a bar, or a handstand , you can also use it for stretching , to keep progress of a the amount of time you can hold a split for example.

You can manually change where the sound beeps will work, by entering the time of the first beep, and of the second (double beep).
The third and final (triple beep) is always set to 00:00



The screen stays on when the timer is running , so you can keep visual track of the time left, in addition to the sound signal, when the timer stops it goes back to normal.

You can reset the previous time with the button RESET if you want to redo the previous time again.

You can also use the Personal Goals section to select the exercise name from the drop down list, and keep track of the skill and the time that you are aiming for. You can pick the name of the exercise ( handstand , plank , squat stance ...)from the drop down list and set the time you are trying to reach in the near future.

Landscape Mode allows for a less distracting view by showing the time count alone, and the Last 5 holds you just finished( if a time is not finished, it is not recorded).


The interval Timer :

simple and clear : set the work time + set the rest time , and the number of sets (rounds), when you press start, the timer will give you a five seconds count before starting your first round.

sounds, green and orange colors and HUGE digits are all combined to provide a clear information on the sets completed, since you are going to be working with intensity, and counting sets is hard when you are tired and out of breath.

Tabata workout is a form of interval workout, where work set is 20 seconds, rest is 10, and you repeat for 8 sets,people who do crossfit circuits use the tabata protocol regularly.
boxing workout,mixed martial arts rounds,high intensity fat loss workout , they all require a specific effort over a period of time, and this interval timer is designed for this purpose.
